Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager / Claims Consultant / Quantum Expert

Key Responsibilities (Subject to Experience)
Pre-contract advice: Draft and review contracts, advising on procurement options to optimise outcomes and mitigate risk.
Commercial strategy: Develop and implement effective commercial strategies to drive project success.
Commercial management: Provide commercial management support throughout the project lifecycle.
Claims preparation and defence: Prepare, appraise, and defend claims for delay, loss, expense, and other contractual entitlements.
Expert appointments: Undertake or assist expert appointments, including the preparation of expert reports.
Dispute management: Manage disputes through to resolution, including mediation, arbitration, adjudication, and litigation support.
Dispute resolution: Represent parties in adjudication and other forms of dispute resolution.
Knowledge sharing: Deliver seminars and training sessions to share your expertise and support the development of others in the field.
Who We’re Looking For
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a similar discipline.
Experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management within the construction industry (civil or building projects).
Knowledge of standard forms of contract such as NEC and JCT.
Proven expertise in dispute management, claims preparation and defence (highly desirable).
MRICS qualification, or working towards it (highly desirable).
Master’s in Law (LLM), or working towards it (highly desirable).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
